I love this Wasabi, I have been there at least 20 times and every time is perfect. Amazing service, even better food. I would eat dozens of the Baymeadows rolls if I could. The little complimentary desert cakes are outstanding almost like a chocolate tiramisu. A fantastic hole in the wall, sits unassumingly in walmart plaza of all things.

Twice a year our production company descends on this area for 2 weeks to make a webseries. After a day of filming, we all head out to dinner together, which can be a challenge for some. We are always warmly welcomed and served with a smile, often given a free appetizer. We love the fresh and healthy options here that are very reasonably priced. Well done, Wasabi! We'll be back.

Great lunch spot! I go to wasabi about once a month and I love their lunch specials. The hibachi is filling and well priced, and the sushi is delicious. They also always give a little mocha or strawberry cake for dessert- a nice touch.

Ive been to a lot of sushi places and ive never had a sushi place that i didnt care for. But we tried this place about a month ago and the rolls were small and tasteless. It was a weekend so i decided to try again for lunch and get conventional rolls(i.e. california, rainbow). And the experience was the same. Ive finally found a sushi place that is sub par.

This was take out. 3/5 of the sushi rolls we ordered were good. The bad ones were pretty bad. A couple of the steamed gyoza were fresh, but most of them were dry and cracking. Instead of wasabi and ginger, there was a plethora of spicy mayonnaise. I probably should have looked more meticulously through the bag before I left.

For a sushi place in a small south Georgia town, this place is amazing. It's a well run, and affordable Japanese restaurant chain with a good sushi selection as well as other popular Japanese dishes. We like the sushi rolls, teriyaki, tempura and noodles. The seating is mainly booths and some tables or you can sit at the sushi bar. Service is good, but sometimes the sushi chefs get a little bogged down when it's busy. Kids Scoop: My kids love the avocado maki (small avocado rolls) and the udon noodles. When it's busy the wait can be a little long, but the atmosphere is kid friendly. My daughter particularly loves counting the umbrellas hanging from the ceiling... over and over again. The free cake is gross, but the green tea ice-cream is good (if you like green tea ice cream)

Probably the worst sushi experience I've ever had. They got my order completely wrong, forgot to give me chopsticks and a soy sauce dish until I've had my food for 5 minutes, they have cream cheese in almost all their rolls (maybe it is a Georgia thing) I love sushi, and have had it in all over the country on travels, and this is by far the most disappointed I have ever been.

The lunch special is great and affordable. If it's any other time of day or Sunday you might be better of going to a Japanese restaurant.

Considering their name was Wasabi, we really expected some flavor. The rolls we had were definitely lacking in flavor, really bland. The service was good, the prices were good, and the fish was fresh. Just not tasty enough. We ordered the tuna tataki appetizer, it said it came with Ponzu sauce. There was absolutely no sauce on the tuna. We added soy sauce and it was much more tasty. I ordered a Wasabi roll and there was no Wasabi in it??? I added some from the side and it was decent. The roll we ordered with their spicy mayo sauce was a little better.

Meh. I don't know. I give them credit for being a sushi restaurant in Georgia. With that being said, is the sushi edible? Yes. Is it enjoyable? Not really. A couple rolls I've ordered are not the traditional rolls (I ordered a philly roll with is traditionally made with salmon but they use imitation crab). Also, I have gotten bad rolls in the past that were questionable. So, I threw them out instead of risking getting food poisoning.

There were plenty of other sushi places around the area, but since this was top rated with good reviews on yelp, I had went here. I did not dine in, but instead did take out. The fish was fresh, not pungent at all and I love how they also give you yum yum sauce on the side. This will be my new sushi spot in town.

Very good food & fast, friendly service. The chicken fried rice was incredible and easily feeds two people. Yes - they do have the white / shrimp sauce!
